Take Control of Your T Cell Assays!
Published on 11/09/2023
Immune monitoring of T cell responses has a central role in the development of immunotherapeutics and vaccines, and thus requires stable positive and negative controls. JPT is proud to offer its own extensive range of peptide-based stimulation controls, facilitating the interpretation of peptide-based T cell stimulation assays. This catalog covers known peptide epitopes belonging to many common infectious pathogens across different biogeographical ancestries.
At the heart of our catalog, and currently the most universally applied positive control pool, is our:
The pool includes 176 peptides, carefully selected from 17 different organisms providing coverage for a broad range of HLA sub-types and different infectious agents. These include clostridium tetani, HaDV5, HHV 1-6, Influenza A, JC polyomavirus and Toxoplasma gondi.
As a result of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, most people have been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 antigens, in particular the spike protein. This exposure has generated SARS-CoV-2-specific T-cell responses in the vast majority of the population. In order to keep our peptide pools up-to-date, we now offer an updated version of the successful CEFX Ultra SuperStim Pool:
This new version includes 26 SARS-CoV-2 epitopes in addition to the above mentioned 176 epitopes covered by the CEFX Pool and thus increases the large scope of already covered organisms by SARS CoV-2.
We also offer a variety of positive and negative control pools covering the following antigens:
- CEFT Pool (CMV, EBV, Influenza, Tetanus)
- EBX Pool (EBV, Influenza + others)
- CEF Pool (CMV, EBV, Influenza)
- EF Pool (EBV, Influenza)
- HCMVA pp65
- Human Actin
- Human ACTL8
- Human MOG
