Stable Isotope-Labeled Peptides & Pools
JPT developed SpikeMix™ - an inexpensive source of customized and ready-to-use, stable isotope labeled peptide standard pools for use in mass spectrometry based proteomics. Additionally we compiled sets of absolutely quantified and stable isotope labeled peptides as low cost source of quantified peptides. They are used as peptide standards in mass spectrometry proteomics (i.e. MRM/ SRM assays).
In addition, JPT provides the highly flexible production of customized SpikeMix™ peptide standard pools. Our stable isotope-labeled peptides contain a heavy arginine (U-13C6; U-15N4) or lysine (U-13C6; U-15N2).
Applications for Proteotypic Peptide Sets & Pools
- Cancer biomarker (tumor associated antigens) discovery and validation
- Clinical monitoring of therapeutic intervention and disease status
- Mass spectrometry based assays (SISCAPA, MRM, etc.)
- Identification & optimization of assay conditions for proteotypic peptides
- Quantification of immunomodulating agents
- Standardization of mass spectrometry based proteomics assays
