JPT Supports ABRF Research Study SpikeTides™ Peptides for Next Generation Proteomics Standards!

JPT proudly supports the 2013 ABRF (Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities) Research Study developing new proteomic standards, derived from a large panel of stable isotope-labeled ("heavy") peptides as internal standards conserved across Homo sapiens, Mus musculus and Rattus norvegicus. Within the scope of the study JPT contributes freeze-dried mixtures of 1000 synthetic and stable isotope-labeled peptides (SIL) produced by it’s SpikeTides™ approach that will be combined with a tryptic digest of HEK293 cells for subsequent MRM assays. The goals of this study are to allow labs to evaluate their ability to measure heavy/light peptide ratios for a large number of peptides in a complex biological background and to provide a teaching tool for labs not familiar with experimental techniques and data analysis strategies for measuring heavy/light peptide ratios.
Please take a look at the final announcement if you wish to participate in the study! Also please feel free to contact us anytime to learn more about the capabilities of our unique SpikeTides™  Platform.
