Peptide microarray displaying 468 peptides derived from a peptide scan (One Peptide per mutation and respective wild-type peptide, no static overlap.) through Spike glycoprotein (Swiss-Prot ID: P0DTC2 (wild-type sequence)) of SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Related Coronavirus 2) - Scan of the immunogenic regions of Spike glycoprotein which show antibody binding of overlapping 15mer peptides in patients with COVID-19 or vaccinated subjects after vaccination with vector-based vaccines (e.g. Vaxzevria® (AstraZeneca)) or mRNA based vaccines (e.g. Comirnaty® (Biontech/Pfizer)). 258 mutations which occur in more than 15 sequenced samples of SARS-CoV-2 infected subjects in these regions are covered by this library (data from GISAID.org, Dec. 2021). Each mutation is covered by a 15mer peptide with the respective mutated residue in the central position (AA8) of the peptide and the respective wildtype peptide. If frequent mutations are observed in neighbouring residues, these are also covered. (Coverage of variants, including mutations of variants of concern (VoC) or variants of interest (VoI) Alpha, Gamma, Eta, Zeta, Delta-AY and Omicron. ).

PepStar™ Peptide Microarrays
JPT Peptide Technologies applies its unique peptide microarray platform to generate peptide microarrays on glass slides for biomarker discovery, immunomonitoring and detection and validation of protein interactions. Peptides are immobilized on glass slides via a flexible linker by chemoselective coupling. The covalently attached peptides are displayed infour copies on each slide. In addition, multiple identical copies of each microarray are produced. Incubation can be performed manually or automated using only minimal amounts of your sample. Read-out via fluorescence results in low background and high sensitivity.
Benefits of JPT's PepStar™ Peptide Microarrays
- Get hundreds of identical microarray copies
- Peptides are free of truncated sequences
- Small amounts of your precious samples are needed for incubation
- Applicable to a variety of biological samples (e.g. serum, plasma, antibody)
- Low background on glass surface
- Read-out via fluorescence
