SARS-COV-2 Spike & NCAP Mutations as PepMix™ Peptide Pools

Published on 26/05/2021

Recent discoveries suggest that the D614G mutation in the spike glycoprotein increases infectivity of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (Korber et al, Cell 2020). Therefore, we developed additional PepMix™ Pools that span the most prevalent mutations in Spike and NCAP genes:

All 17719 available viral genomic sequences at GISAID for SARS-CoV-2 (May 11th 2020, www.epicov.org) with more than 29000 nucleotides were used for analysis of mutations. Mutations with a frequency >1% were covered with 9mer peptides with the mutated residue in each position.

Combined with our previously launched antigen-spanning PepMix™ Pools for SARS CoV-2 Spike and NCAP proteins, JPT now provides the most comprehensive tools to study T-cell responses against these antigens and prominent mutations.

Please see the complete SARS-COV-2 genome represented as PepMix™ Peptide Pools which now includes an increasing number as high quality, purified PepMix™ versions!
