Take Control of Your T cell Assays with PepMix™ Control Pools!

Published on 29/11/2024

With a portfolio of over 500 products, JPT’s PepMix™ Peptide Pool Catalog remains the largest on the market. We offer a diverse variety of peptide pools tailored for immune monitoring, cellular immune response profiling, or T cell epitope identification, providing unparalleled resources for cutting-edge research in immunotherapy and vaccine development. This week we spotlight our PepMix™ control pools designed to ensure the accuracy and reliability of your T cell assays!

Why Control Pools are Essential

Immune monitoring of T cell responses plays a central role in the development of immunotherapeutics and vaccines, and thus requires stable positive and negative controls. JPT is proud to offer its own extensive range of peptide-based stimulation controls, along with standardized protocols, and thus facilitating the interpretation of peptide-based T cell stimulation assays. Our control pools feature well-characterized epitope peptides from many common infectious pathogens across different biogeographical ancestries and HLA types.

At the heart of our catalog, is our most universally applied positive control pool: CEFX Ultra SuperStim Pool. This pool includes 176 peptides, carefully selected from 17 different organisms providing coverage for a broad range of HLA sub-types and different infectious agents that are present in a wide range of ethnic backgrounds. These include clostridium tetani, HaDV5, HHV 1-6, Influenza A, JC polyomavirus and Toxoplasma gondii.

As a result of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, and the consequential exposure of the virus to humanity, we now offer an updated version of the successful CEFX Ultra SuperStim Pool, which includes 26 SARS-CoV-2 epitopes in addition to the above mentioned 176: CEFXS Ultra SuperStim Pool

Both our CEFX and CEFXS Ultra SuperStim Pools are product propietarily developed by JPT.
