Time flies, doesn’t it? At JPT, we celebrated our 20th anniversary in Berlin with a big party on the Spree River. It is not only a time for joy and celebration, but also for reflection. From our humble beginnings to becoming a leader in peptide manufacturing, we are proud to celebrate this journey with our incredible team, customers, and partners around the world.
None of this would have been possible without your continued trust in our ability to provide you with reliable, high quality peptides. Therefore, we would like to share some of our milestones and fun facts about JPT with you, and express our gratitude by saying THANK YOU with a little gift.
Important JPT Milestones
While taking on the challenges of ever-changing markets, we have expanded our expertise in peptide synthesis, purification, quality assurance, and peptide application ranges
- 2004: Our story begins in 2004 as a spin-off from Jerini AG, a Berlin-based drug discovery company.
- 2009: JPT becomes part of BioNTech SE. We start cooperations in seromarker discovery, immunomonitoring, development of vaccines, and proteomics.
- 2011: We launch our Peptide Catalog.
- 2015: We produce 1mio peptides for the ProteomeTools Project.
- 2016: We achieve our ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- 2020: Our peptides contribute to the development of various SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. 2023: An ELISpot comparison lists us among the top 5 laboratories.
- 2024: Aurélien Claeyssen takes over as CEO.
- 2025: We will open our new manufacturing plant in Berlin.
