Proteomics
Proteomics is the study of a cell's protein content over time through protein identification and quantification. Mass spectrometry, especially LC-MS/MS, has greatly advanced this field.

Our Proteomics Capabilities
Quantitative or MS-based Proteomics involves the measuring protein abundance in a sample, with mass spectrometry, especially LC-MS/MS, having greatly advanced this field. JPT has developed proprietary methods for creating custom peptides and ready-to-use products for protein biomarker identification and quantification. In addition to high-throughput techniques for discovering novel biomarkers, JPT has created a mass spectrometry-based method for precise quantification of target proteins in clinical proteomics.
Functional proteomics have the primary goal to understand the function of proteins within biological systems and explore biological pathways and cellular processes. The research of said features involves the monitoring of protein-protein interactions, enzyme activities, post-translational modifications, protein localizations, and epigenetic regulations. With over a decade of expertise, JPT offers services in the area of the above mentioned functional proteomics.
