Protease Peptide Microarrays

JPT Peptide Technologies GmbH has compiled a unique database of annotated cleavage sites. Fluorescently labeled peptides representing these cleavage sites are displayed on PepStar™ peptide microarrays in at least three identical subarrays ensuring data quality.

The following peptide microarrays are available:

Cleavage Site Collection (1 989 peptides)
Protease Profiler
(3 525 peptides)

Cleavage Site Collection

This microarray contains 1989 annotated cleavage sites as fluorescently labeled peptides allow both protease substrate identification and consensus sequence determination. It comes as one microarray displaying 1989 different peptides in a sixfold manner (11934 datapoints). Each identified in vitro substrate peptide corresponds to a known protein, which represents a potential in vivo target of the studied protease.

Protease Profiler

This microarray contains 1989 annotated 8meric cleavage sites and 1536 randomly generated 15meric peptide substrates allow both protease substrate identification and consensus sequence determination. It comes as a set of two microarrays displaying 3525 different peptides in a sixfold manner (21150 datapoints). All peptides are distally tagged with phosphotyrosine. Read-out via fluorescence by treatment with anti-phosphotyrosine antibody (differential measurement necessary).
