Phosphorylation Site Detection

JPT provides a highly economical tool for determination of phosphorylation sites in substrate proteins. Overlapping peptides covering your substrate protein will be synthesized and immobilized onto glass surfaces or our premade phosphorylation site detectors can be used. Resulting peptide microarray will be screened using your kinase of interest in the presence of radioisotopically labelled ATP followed by phosphorimaging. JPT will perform all experiments and will deliver a data report including experimental details, phosphorimages and analysis of results yielding phosphorylation site(s).

Benefits of Phosphorylation Site Detection

  • Select from more than 80 ready-to-screen Phosphorylation Site Detectors
  • Create your customized Phosphorylation site detector microarray
  • Receive information about phosphorylation sites within two weeks
  • Minimal sample volume needed (200 µL assay volume per peptide microarray)
  • Learn more about your kinase/kinase target protein

Applications of Phosphorylation Site Detection

  • Detection of potential phosphosites in substrate proteins
  • Determination of auto-phosphorylation sites
  • Identification of upstream kinases for your target protein
  • Elucidation of signal transduction pathways
  • Get information about potential downstream targets of your kinase
